World Bank

Considering poorer countries will be unable to effectively lockdown entire cities and implement self isolation, social distancing and regular handwashing. They are faced with an impossible situation if Corona virus were to take hold in one of the tightly pack poorer areas  where it is not uncommon for a family of 8 to be  living in a 2 room shack, sharing  outside communial bathroom with many dozens of unrelated families  as seen recently in Africa, Asia and Tottenham.

The World Bank needs to tell all the rich countries to dig deep and bail all the poor countires out by scrapping their debt and giving them access to US$42.1billion (IBRD) to help prepare their respective health systems and ICU's. They too need to do mass testing and should be supplied with Test Kits and PPE. The WB need to be writing blank chqs and manuafacturing these test kits now. UK Businesses need to help  set the standard to have any chance of reaching 100,000 tests per day by end of April. The entire world chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.
